About Me
I am an AI and robotics researcher with a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. My academic journey started with a B.A. in Computer Techniques Engineering from Al-Mustafa University in 2018, and I completed my Master’s at Altınbaş University in 2022.
During my academic career, I focused on deep learning and robotics, which led to the publication of my first research paper, “Obstacle Avoidance in Mobile Robots in RGB-D Images Using Deep Neural Network and Semantic Segmentation” (IEEE, 2022). I also worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Al-Hikmah and Dijlah University Colleges, where I published another research paper, “Analysis and Detection of Political Fake News Using a Deep Learning Approach with High-Performance Hybrid-Mode” (2023).
Research Focus
My research is at the intersection of robotics and artificial intelligence, with a specific focus on perception and autonomous navigation. I am passionate about developing mobile robots that can efficiently and safely navigate complex environments. My work utilizes deep learning and computer vision to equip robots with the ability to detect and avoid obstacles in real-time, using techniques like feature extraction and semantic segmentation on RGB-D images. My ultimate goal is to make robotic systems more robust, affordable, and accessible for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.
